This AR experience allows players to explore a corner of the Gulbenkian Garden through all four seasons.
The changing of seasons is implemented by Stable Diffusion.
This is a rhythm-based performance game where players use a modified coffee grinder as the controller. Guided by an LED strip, players rotate the grinder handle to hit the right beats. With each precise turn, vibrant VJ visuals light up a screen behind the player, creating a dynamic show for onlookers.
The better the player’s timing, the more colorful and energetic the visuals become, transforming their performance into an immersive musical experience!
Our world is full of “natural stuff” created by human beings. In most pieces, we tend to simulate what they look like in nature. While in this project, I hope to reflect on how our behavior influences them.
I use a mathematical theory called fractal to perform my idea. Players can talk to the trees. What they say will directly impact the looks of the trees.
Inspired from Ming Dynasty painter Qiu Ying's work, we built an immersive environment with rocky hills, streaming rivers and lively characters.
